Cynthia Weinberger, OT/L, CHT

 Cindy Weinberger is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with 31 years of healthcare experience. She is the owner and Clinical Director of MTG.


Cindy attended Boston University, Sargent College of Health Professions, where she earned her Occupational Therapy degree in 1989.

Cindy earned her specialization as a Board Certified Hand Therapist in 2010, following a passion for upper extremity treatment.


 She has treated patients in hospitals, clinics, home, assisted living facilities and on-line. She is the past owner of HandHealth, a private therapy clinic she founded when living in New Hampshire.  She is knowledgeable regarding infectious diseases with her 31 years of healthcare experience. 


Cindy specializes in the treatment of the upper extremity, from shoulder to fingertip. She started Mobile Therapy Group in order to provide high quality, one-on-one healthcare to help people in their recovery.


When not busy with patients, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband and children, nature, jogging, tennis and reading.

Kayla Gittens, OTR/L

Kayla Gittens, OTR/L, grew up in Georgia where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science from Georgia Southern University in 2012. Kayla went on to achieve her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in 2015.  

Kayla started her career as an OT in a skilled nursing facility and in home health care, receiving well rounded exposure to multiple medical diagnoses and conditions. She later transitioned to a busy Outpatient Hand Therapy clinic where she worked closely with four CHTs and hand surgeons for 2.5 years. Kayla is certified to provide Physical Agent Modalities and is eligible to sit for her CHT exam, which she plans to do in 2022.   

Kayla recently relocated to West Palm Beach, FL and enjoys working with adults. She has particular interest in wound care, post operative, orthopedic and neurological populations. Kayla has a passion for helping patients improve their independence and participation in daily activities that are meaningful to them.  When not seeing patients, Kayla enjoys spending time with her husband, dog and cats, working out, kayaking and cheering on the University of Georgia and Georgia Southern University athletics.

Nicole Calderon, OTD

 

Dr. Nicole Calderón is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist. She grew up in New York and obtained her Bachelor of Health Science from Bellevue University. Dr. Calderon attended graduate school at The University of St. Augustine in Miami, Florida, where she earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. 


Nicole has experience in different healthcare settings ranging from home health, outpatient pediatrics, and general outpatient receiving well-rounded experience with varying neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. Her current experience working with Mobile Therapy Group has awarded her opportunities to complete skilled intervention within the clients’ homes which maximize positive outcomes.  


Dr. Calderon completed her doctoral research in collaboration with the Spinal Cord Injury Support Group of South Florida to develop a website to monitor clients' use of assistive technology post-discharge to decrease the prevalence of clients abandoning assistive devices. The project was presented at the Florida Occupational Therapy Association Conference and American Occupational Therapy Association Conference and Expo.   

Dr. Calderon is experienced in the treatment of diagnoses including but not limited to, carpal tunnel syndrome, shoulder injuries, fractures, cumulative disorders (tennis elbow & golfers’ elbow), Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Autism, and Parkinson’s as well as other neurological diagnoses. Nicole is passionate about using a holistic therapeutic approach to encourage and help clients improve their independence with daily activities.   

When not seeing clients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, exploring different parks, and fostering kittens. 

Laura Drumm, MS, OTR/L, CHT

 Laura Drumm is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist with 20 years of experience. 


Laura holds a Bachelor's  Degree in Health Science, and a Masters of Science degree in Occupational Therapy  from  Towson University.  Laura has been a Certified Hand Therapist since 2011 and became a Certified Lymphedema Specialist in 2002.


Laura has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She is experienced in treating complex injuries involving the upper extremity including but not limited to:  complex fracture management, tendonitis, wound care, edema management, sports related injuries, neurovascular repairs, amputations, neurological conditions, and management of postoperative edema. 


When not seeing patients, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, running, working out and volunteering in her community. 

Taylor D'Antico, DPT

Dr, Taylor D’Antico is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. D'Antico attended Rutgers University - South, School of Health Professions, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2018. Taylor spent her first years as a practicing clinician working in the New York City hospital system where she gained experience working with patients with various diagnoses and amongst a myriad of clinical settings, including, but not limited to, acute care hospitals, inpatient rehab facilities, schools, clinics, homes, and virtually.

In December of 2020, Taylor completed an Oncology Physical Therapy Residency Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in in New York City.  Taylor is a Board Certified Oncology Specialist and brings a unique approach to this population.

 In addition to the oncologic population, Taylor has experience with the orthopedic, neurologic, cardiopulmonary, and pediatric populations, and is certified in LSVT BIG! approach for Parkinson's patients.

When not seeing patients, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running marathons, and traveling. 

Morgan Fenerty, DPT, TPI certified

 

Dr. Morgan Fenerty was born and raised in the Philadelphia suburbs. She graduated Cum Laude from James Madison University in Virginia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Sciences. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree (DPT) from Mary Baldwin University. Since the start of her career, Dr. Fenerty has achieved her Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certification.


Prior to becoming a DPT, Dr. Fenerty was an avid varsity track and field sprinter, soccer & basketball player. While attending JMU, she volunteered for Brain Injury Connections of the Shenandoah Valley, where she developed her passion for working with individuals with concussions. Additionally, she found joy in volunteering for Overcoming Barriers, an organization that empowers children with disabilities through exercise. Morgan’s interest in physical therapy stems from her athletic past, passion for exercise, nutrition, and helping others. Her mission is to provide quality care in a compassionate environment by treating all patients equally and helping them lead healthy meaningful lives.


Dr. Fenerty's treatment approach is centered around her patient's goals and consists of advanced manual therapy techniques, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, cupping, sport and function-specific exercise prescription and vestibular rehabilitation with the goal of helping her patients achieve their maximum potential.


Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fenerty enjoys spending time with family & friends, weightlifting, going to the beach, hiking, trying new restaurants & coffee shops, and working on her golf swing. She’s super excited to be a part of the Mobile Therapy Group team and provide one-on-one personalized care!

Derwin Hall, DPT

Dr. Derwin Hall Jr. is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr Hall grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and obtained his Bachelors of Science from Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. Derwin attended graduate school at The University of St.Augustine for Health Sciences in - Austin, Texas; where he earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2019. Derwin spent his first years as a travel physical therapist gaining experience practicing with patients in clinical settings, including acute care hospitals, inpatient rehab facilities, and homes.  

Dr. Hall is currently studying to become a Board Certified Sports Specialist in Physical Therapy which is a medical expertise in athletic injury management, including acute care, treatment, rehabilitation, prevention, and education. In addition to the sports population, 

Derwin has experience treating orthopedic, post-operative orthopedic procedures, neurologic, and cardiopulmonary and vertigo conditions.  When not seeing patients, Derwin enjoys spending time with his family, friends and his best dog friend Maverick. Also, Derwin enjoys outdoor adventures, fishing, JiuJitsu Martial Arts, attending athletic sporting events and traveling. 

Steven Bass, RPT

Steven M. Bass joins Mobile Therapy Group with over 30 years of experience as a PT. He graduated from University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1987 and his post-graduate degree in Sports Medicine/Science from the University of Cape Town in 1989. Steven emigrated to the US in 1991 and has been working as a manual based Physical Therapist in a variety of settings since that time. This includes country clubs, home health and hospitals.


His experience includes rehabilitation of sports injuries, post-operative and non-operative conditions including the shoulder, back, neck and lower extremities. Steven has a holistic treatment approach with high level manual, hands-on skills when working with his patients. Steven is certified in LSVT Big approach to Parkinson’s treatment and is certified in trigger point myofascial release dry needling which has just recently been approved in PT scope of practice by Florida legislature. 


When not seeing patients, Steven enjoys time with his wife and 3 daughters, biking, running and trying to keep a fit and healthy lifestyle in the beautiful Florida outdoors.
